ARFF

ARFF moves us forward trusting in each other and loving life and learning.

ARFF is the foundation of "systems" created in my classroom to grow your brain and double your happiness! Each of us own our own ARFF. As I design T.O.O.L. Time,  J.A.M. Sessions, discipline policy, rituals and traditions of our art studio (classroom), the entire system must allow children and anyone else who works in our space to have their ARFF met, each component equally - like wheels on a car - all tires even to ensure a smooth ride!

How do we maintain our ARFF in Art?

1 - Know ARFF. They will learn the analogy to a car.

2 - If a "tire goes flat", S.T.O.P..
      This stands for
      Stop so you can

Take 3 breaths so you can (They learn how to breath properly so they can get to "O".)

      Open your mind so can

Practice being the person you really want to be

This works really well to get to solution and fix the issue. If they are stuck and don't know how,       they should be at a point for step 3 -

3 - Ask for what you need or want.

If you know it, you can show it. If you don't, you can take the time to learn it.
These activities can help teach the skills taught in the beginning of the year and upheld throughout the year. Need extra support with keeping your ARFF tires full? I am here to help! :)

Here are some ARFFy worksheets!
